Connecting web and virtual cameras to the Eocortex server🔗

To connect a web or virtual camera, proceed as follows:

  1. Launch the Eocortex Configurator application.

  2. On the Cameras page, add a camera using the Ctrl+N keyboard shortcut or the /config/cameras/svg/ico-cam-add.png Add camera button.

  3. Next, configure the connection to the camera. In the Device settings group, specify values for the following parameters:

    • Brand: Virtual Camera

    • Device type: Video server

    • Model: Eocortex Virtual IP Camera

    • Channel number: the camera number assigned in the Eocortex Virtual IP Camera application

  4. If necessary, change the camera settings in the connection settings. For more information, see Connection setup.

    Warning

    In the Video streams settings group, select the stream format configured for the camera in the Eocortex Virtual IP Camera application.

  5. Click the Test camera button to test the connection to the virtual camera.

  6. Once the connection is established, apply the settings.
