Troubleshooting Eocortex Client application🔗
Eocortex Client application fails to launch🔗
If the Eocortex Client application does not launch, follow these steps:
Step 1 — Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ components
In the Windows Control Panel, go to Programs and select Uninstall a program. Then, uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages related to the operation of Eocortex.
Step 2 — Enable .NET Framework 3.5 support
Press Win + R, type optionalfeatures, and press Enter.
In the Windows Features window, select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) item.
Press Enter and wait for the file installation to complete.
Restart your computer.
Step 3 — Delete All Eocortex Client application files and configurations
After restarting, delete the Configs folder.
Default path:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Eocortex
Step 4 — Reinstall the Eocortex Client application
Run EocortexClientCommon Installer.exe or EocortexMainCommon Installer.exe (see Installing Eocortex Client).
