License plate recognition in web client🔗

If the License plate recognition module is enabled on the camera, a panel of recognized license plates will be displayed in the upper right corner of the cell when viewing in real time.

To enable/disable the panel display in Eocortex Web Client, click the ico-web-lpr button at the bottom of the cell.

Note

To display the buttons placed in a grid cell, click inside the cell.

Note

To hide the panel in the camera cell until the first recognized license plate, click the web-ico-hide button. To show the panel, click the web-ico-show button.

The license plate panel provides the following features:

  • Display of archived events.

  • Display of real-time events.

  • Barrier gate control.

  • Parking lot occupancy control.

Note

The license plate panel in Eocortex Web Client is available for all license plate recognition modules. The panel capabilities depend on the module being used.

At the top of the panel there are buttons:

  • ico-web-gate Barrier opening.

  • ico-web-gate-closed Barrier closing.

  • ico-web-plates-events Events log.

  • ico-web-plates-parameters Display settings.

Warning

In a multiserver system, barrier control does not work on cameras connected from a secondary server.

If the camera is configured to track parking spots, the panel will display information about the number of occupied spots.

Note

Parking occupancy rates for the same time period may vary slightly between client applications.

By clicking the Change ico-web-change-parking button, a window opens in which the number of occupied parking spots can be manually set.

Warning

It is not possible to apply a change without specifying a reason.

Warning

In a multiserver system, parking occupancy control does not work on cameras connected from a secondary server, as well as in case of simultaneous operation of several license plate recognition modules on the server.

Note

To control parking occupancy, the user must have the appropriate right.

Parking occupancy information is available only on cameras open for viewing.

Double-click on the license plate in the event panel to open the archive window at the moment of license plate recognition:

Panel display settings🔗

In Eocortex Web Client, it is possible to configure the display of additional information related to the license plate.

To go to the panel settings, click the ico-web-plates-parameters button. The settings window looks as follows:

In the license plate panel, the following can be displayed:

  • Name of the driver.

  • Timing and direction of the vehicle.

  • Additional information about the vehicle.

  • Additional details for the license plate.

  • Parking time.

The parking panel can be hidden if necessary.

Note

The availability of display options depends on the current module settings.

Viewing events in real time🔗

The license plate panel displays the 50 most recent events.

When hovering the cursor over an event, all available information about the recognized license plate is displayed:

  • License plate thumbnail.

  • Event time.

  • Vehicle direction.

  • Name of the vehicle owner.

  • Groups to which the license plate belongs.

  • Identified vehicle type.

  • Identified vehicle model.

  • Plate color.

  • Additional information about the license plate.

  • Parking time.

Note

If the vehicle's parking time is exceeded, the time is highlighted in red.

Note

The information displayed for the camera can be configured. To do this, go to the module settings in the Eocortex Configurator application.

Note

For the License Plate Recognition (Light) module, license plate thumbnails are not available.

To go to the Events log, click the ico-web-plates-events button located in the license plate panel. The page with the list of events will open:

Note

The barrier opening/closing events are displayed in the event log.
