Eocortex Server Info

The Eocortex Server Info utility is used to manage and monitor the Eocortex Server service. The utility installs with the Eocortex Server and starts automatically at the startup of the operating system. Even if the utility window was minimized or closed, the utility can still be found in the notification area of the Windows taskbar.

To open the Eocortex Server Info window, click twice on its icon in the notification area by left mouse button or call the context menu by right mouse button and select the Show item.

Warning

Selecting the Close item in the context menu closes only the utility, while the Eocortex Server service will continue to work normally.

The Eocortex Server Info window contains the following controls:

The Stop server button terminates the Eocortex Server service on the computer. This action requires confirmation by requesting the username and password of the user who has the right to stop the service.

The Start server button starts the Eocortex Server service on the computer.

The Eocortex Configurator starts the Eocortex Configurator application.

The bottom part of the window displays the current server state. Notifications about server problems will be displayed there as well.

To get a detailed description of the problem and recommendations on how to fix it, click on the icon in the left upper corner of the notification. To remove a notification from the window, click on the icon in its right upper corner.
