Main page🔗

After successful connection to the video system, the Main page of the app is displayed.

Important cameras and views are highlighted on this page for quick access.

To add views and cameras, click on the plus button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Adding cameras

By clicking on the Add camera button, the add camera window opens. The checked camera or camera folder is added to the Main page. If you need to search for a specific camera or folder, you can also use the checkbox to mark it.

Warning

Cameras previously added to the Main page are displayed as unavailable.

There is a button indicating the number of selected cameras at the bottom of the page. Clicking this button opens a list of cameras available for removal.

Note

After selecting the cameras, it is necessary to click on the checkmark. In this case, the chosen cameras will be added to the top of the Main page.

Adding views

By clicking on the Add view button, a window for adding views opens. The checked view is added to the Main page.

Warning

Views previously added to the Main page are displayed as unavailable.

There is a button indicating the number of selected views at the bottom of the page. Clicking this button opens a list of views available for removal.

Note

After selecting views, it is necessary to click on the checkmark. In this case, the chosen views will be added to the top of the Main page.

Creating a new view

To create a new view, click on the plus button, which is located in the upper right corner of the screen.

In the appeared window enter the name of the view.

Next, select the cameras for the view.

When selecting cameras, you can:

  • View them in list or tile mode;

  • Use camera and folder search.

  • Select and unselect cameras in the current folder, taking into account cameras in subfolders, by clicking the /mobile/img/svg/ico-points.svg button in the top right corner.

Use gestures to zoom the size of the displayed camera cells, and long tap to swap cells.

After clicking the checkmark at the bottom of the screen, the new view will appear at the top of the Main page and in the list of user views.

Note

All previously marked checkboxes will be saved. The user can continue working with the selected views after completing the process of creating a new view.

Editing mode

To enter editing mode, you can use the button on the top left of the panel or long-press anywhere on the screen.

In editing mode, you can:

  • Change the position of elements by long-pressing and dragging;

  • Delete individual elements by tapping on the cross icon;

  • Delete all elements by pressing the corresponding button at the bottom.

Clicking the checkmark at the bottom of the screen will exit the editing mode.

Note

If all elements are deleted, the editing mode will automatically exit.

Viewing cameras

When clicking on a camera on the Main page, it is displayed in fullscreen mode.

Warning

The camera is displayed in single mode, and there is no option to swipe left or right.

Note

You can close the camera by swiping up or down.

Viewing views

When clicking on a view on the Main page, it opens in fullscreen mode.

Warning

The view is displayed in single mode, and there is no option to swipe left or right.

While the view is opened, it is possible to adjust the number of displayed columns through zoom, but this change will be reset upon closing the view.

When clicking on the camera, it will be displayed in fullscreen mode. You can swipe left or right to view all cameras in the view.

If the client view is opened a button /mobile/img/svg/ico-points.svg appears in the corner. By pressing it, you can open the view menu and go to the view editor. Returning from the view editor will take you back to the opened view.

Caching

If the real time configuration update option is enabled, then upon detecting new configuration the user will experience the following:

  • Renaming cameras and views, and their displaying based on access rights to the Main page, including in editing mode.

  • Modifying cameras or views parameters and subsequent restart of the video stream while viewing an individual camera on the Main page or a camera from a view. If access to the camera is unavailable, the fullscreen mode will be closed.

  • Modifying cameras parameters and their displaying based on access rights in a view with subsequent restart of video streams. If access to the view is unavailable, it will be closed.

  • End of the camera monitoring from a view and returning to the Main page when the view becomes unavailable.

  • Real time changes updates while the adding views or cameras page is opened with the possibility of continuing the addition.

  • Real time changes updates while editing the client view with the possibility of continuing the editing.

When you press the Back button, previously opened settings windows are closed, and you exit the viewing or editing mode. Exiting the editing mode saves all changes.

Button double tap closes the app.
